What we changed
Three narrow points carry everything you have.
Two thin straps and one tight band. The weight has nowhere else to go, so it goes into your shoulders, under your bust and across your back. That is not a comfort problem. It is arithmetic.

If I take my bra off, is everything going to drop?
This is the first thing most women ask, and here is the honest mechanical answer. A bra concentrates the whole load into one band and two straps, which is why a fuller bust means more digging, not more holding. SERENA spreads that same load across the whole garment, from shoulder to hip. Nothing has to grip hard in one place, and nothing drops.
It gives you what we call supported enough: held, lifted and smooth for everyday life, errands, lunch, church, travelling, the garden. It is not an underwired bra for a day of heavy lifting, and we are not going to pretend otherwise. Most of our larger-bust customers wear XL to 3XL. If you are between two sizes, take the larger one.
Will the padding shift or come out in the wash?
The padding is stitched to the garment rather than slipped into an open pocket, so it cannot travel, fold over or vanish into the machine. If you prefer no padding at all, you can take it out and put it back, it returns to the same place.
Wash it cold on a gentle cycle and let it dry flat, and it keeps its shape and its hold.
What if I order the wrong size?
You have 30 days from delivery to write to us and we put it right, the size that works, or your money back. Use the size finder above first: give it the bra size you wear now and it tells you which tank to order.
Will it show under a light-coloured blouse?
The outer layer is smooth and flat, so you do not get seams or lumps reading through. Under something white or very fine, choose the shade closest to your own skin tone rather than white, nude disappears under pale fabric far better than white does.
What is it made of, and is it hot to wear?
A soft nylon and elastane blend that stretches in every direction and breathes. There is no thick moulded cup and no elastic band trapping heat under the bust, which is the part most women find they notice first in warm weather.
Can I really wear it instead of a bra?
That is exactly what it is for. Wear it on its own when it is warm, or under a shirt, a knit or a cardigan the rest of the year. Most of our customers keep two or three in rotation and stop reaching for a bra altogether.
